Day one: ROOTING INto SISTERHOOD

MAKE WAY FOR CONNECTION

ARRIVAL DAY

8th of nov. 2019

May we plant our first seed by allowing and welcoming space for CONNECTION. We will start our first retreat day bending our bodies, calming our minds, holding space for each other and blessing ourselves, our surroundings and our ancestors.

This day will flow at a different pace than the days ahead. Allowing arrivals to commence from 7 am - 4:30 pm. Within this time gap, we will organise pickups from Jauja Airport to the retreat and place everyone into their designated cabins. We will offer snacks, tea and healthy lunch while you freshen up and make yourself comfortable with space.

Our first shared yoga circle will commence at 4:30 pm. Inside this practice, we will intertwine our roots within each other, within the healing space held in this sanctuary we are blessed to share, within this jungle, and within this bountiful country, Peru. Through this initiation we allow to let go and/or detach ourselves of the outside world, we connect back to our awareness and our true spirit.

At 6:00 pm we will meet in an introduction circle and a welcoming cacao ceremony. We hope to bring forward a new family, a sacred connection intuitively weaved through us, by us.

While welcoming our Mother Moon to the night sky, we will gather at 7:00 pm for Family Dinner and feast on medicinal-nourishing foods.

At 9:00 pm we will finish our first day together with a short meditation, allowing our vessels to surrender to the end of the day and fill up with absolute gratitude.

*We encourage everyone to wear white on ceremony as a symbol of respect and divinity. For our Full Moon Ceremony, you are welcomed to bring anything that enhances your spirit. This can be anything: crystals + musical instruments + offerings + prayers + in-scents + songs. We also politely ask to respect the sacred presence by keeping your phone silenced/turned off and refraining from photographs.

*All our yoga practice honour, support, and encourage all diverse body types and flexibility levels, we are all unique. Also, note that all our sessions are held on top of the mountain so we advise starting making your way up at 6:45 am. Feel welcomed to bring any amulet you find sacred to our yoga practice + meditation session + ceremony. Please consider dressing in comfortable, movement allowing clothing when coming to our daily practice.

Today we wake up to a fresh nourishing start to our week, making way for vulnerability.

We come together to our first gathering of the day in sacred practice at 7:00 am. In this practice, we will focus on opening our hips and listening to our bodies. Using our breath we will feel into our vessels, and try to come to an understanding with where our fears are rooted within. We will explore several poses while practising deep breathing and surrendering to stillness for 2-3 minutes. In this breath-work, we will lead up to our peak posture, Gomukhasana- Cow Face Pose, and end with a melting Shavasana. While breathing through the deliciousness of Shavasana we will move towards our first meditation together. An intuitively guided meditation focusing on the connection with our ancestry, allowing their blessings upon our seed. Warm herbal infusions + fruits will be waiting before the commencement of this practice.

At 9:00 am we welcome a nourishing healthy brekkie and a much-needed break. We will meet again at 11:15 am for a walking tour along the property. We believe that a proper introduction to the land celebrates/honours the loving manifestation of this retreat and creates a space held with respect + safety + connection.

A healthy lunch will be waiting upon arrival from our walk at 2:30 pm, following a 3-hour break that allows rest in any way you wish you to experience.

5:30 pm will be the start of our last gathering of the day. We will come in circle + ceremony, the way our ancestors did, and allow space for soul full conversations and a short meditation.

7:00 am - 9:00 pm

11th of Nov. 2019

Make way for Release. With the arrival of the Full Moon around the corner, we feel like today should be focused on purging + releasing all that no longer serves us and blocks us from being our best self. Full Moon’s hold so much manifestation so clearing our thoughts and our bodies from blockages will enhance our powers and help us focus on our lunar re-birthing.

We will start our day with an early 7:00 am practice, here we will focus on twisting our bodies to squeeze out deeply settled toxins and stagnant energy. We will enter multiple gentle twists before our peak posture, Marichyasana- Sunbeam Pose. We will end this practice in meditation with the intention to release those rooted emotions/thoughts that tend to hold us back. Warm herbal infusions + fruits will be waiting before the commencement of this practice.

Brekkie will be open at 9:00 am following a 2-hour break to freshen up. At 11:15 am we go chasing waterfalls. Water is believed to be one of the purest cleansing ingredients for our heart + soul + mind. Once we arrive at our destination we will spoil ourselves with healthy snacks and a face mask using sacred soil to further the cleanse and enhance the beauty that already lives in us. While swimming we encourage everyone to embrace their inner goddess and play in your most raw and unapologetic form (this could be naked swimming or not - whatever flows with you). Please note that this is a judgement free zone, we are here to empower the beauty in each other.

2:00 pm - lunch following a long break to relax, re-energise and de-clutter the mind.

Family dinner will then take place at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. We end the day by flowing slowly through a graceful dance.

*For all our bush-walks + adventures make sure to wear sunscreen + a hat + mosquito repellent (preferably natural) + walking shoes + comfy movement allowing clothes + water bottle + cameras.

We focus on harnessing & manifesting her powerful energy and making use of it in a positive empowering way. Today we celebrate our divine feminine.

We start our day in practice at 7:00 am. In this practice, we will focus on opening our hearts, creating space for unconditional love to enter and thrive. Lunch will be open at 2:00 pm and we will come back in gathering at 4:45 pm for our first dancing ceremony called, Chi'Danse. These rhythmic movements lead to silence the mind and to feel the same sense of peace and serenity that characterises other more static forms of meditation. In other words, through this Art, we learn to dance with Chi, transferring consciousness from a rational to an intuitive place.

Family Dinner will have an early start today, we will meet at 6:00 pm to feast before our ceremony.

Our Full Moon Ceremony will take place in the same spot where we share our morning practices from 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm. This ceremony will consist of surrendering + openness + vulnerability + empowerment + manifestation + LOVE.

Remember today is about allowing ourselves to rid and release any and all thought forms, beings, situations and energies that are no longer of service to our highest and greatest good. Today is also to remember the divine connection our ancestors shared with our Mother Moon. We pray that all energies that are less than love be transmuted for the highest good of all.

This can be anything: crystals + musical instruments + offerings + prayers + in-scents + songs.
